Towneley Golf Course -

Originally a nine-hole course when it opened in the 1930s, Towneley is a municipal golf course that offers almost 6,000 yards and par 70. The course is in the south of Burnley surrounded by mature trees and lush, rolling landscape. The Clubhouse is a favorite place to relax before or after a round. The golf shop is chock full of gear, and is also a wonderful place to swap golfing adventure stories.

Golf Clubhouse -

After totting up their scorecards, golfers reward themselves with food and drink at the Towneley Golf Clubhouse. The Clubhouse lounge is the place to relax with two television sets and a snooker table.

This is also where members can visit the golf shop, or freshen up in the changing areas. A scenic balcony faces over the golf course. The Clubhouse also accommodates wedding receptions and other special celebratory events.

Towneley Open Events -

For those who like a little competition, Towneley Golf Club hosts a few open events each year. Women grab their favorite friends and team up with the Ladies Open Team Event in the spring. In the fall, there's the Autumn Turkey Shoot "Mixed Greensomes." The Gents Open Four Man Team is held in the summer, and the Municipal Cup & Rose Bowl is an open singles event.
